In 2012, needing money to purchase much-needed classroom supplies and looking for a way to stay connected over the summer, Friendly House Preschool parents came together and started our sweetest fundraiser yet.
Friendly Fruit is our signature jam, made in small batches from local, hand-picked berries donated by our favorite local farms, Columbia Farms on Sauvie Island and Rowell Brothers Farm in Hillsboro. Friendly House volunteers gather together for the quintessential Oregon summer experience of berry picking, and then the jam is lovingly made in Friendly House's commercial kitchen by volunteers, board members, and staff over the course of a few days.
All proceeds from jam sales go directly to supporting all of Friendly House's essential programs. We hope you'll help support Friendly House by signing up to help with berry picking or jam making or just by purchasing some of our delicious jam!
Many thanks to our 2023 jam sponsors: SELCO Community Credit Union, Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital, and Atlas & Antonin!
