2025 Friendly House Community Yard Sale

Saturday, August 16, from 9 AM - 4 PM in Northwest Portland 

This summer, Friendly House is coordinating our fourth annual zip code-wide yard sale in 97210! Friendly House is a nonprofit community center and social service agency, and our Community Yard Sale is one of our most important annual fundraisers.
 
Here are the ways you can participate:

 

Hold a Sale at Your Home or Business: If you are looking to get rid of some extra stuff and support a great cause please sign up to host a sale at your home or business!  The sale at Friendly House will be happening from 9am-4pm, but you are welcome to choose your own hours.We ask that each sale commit to donating a flat rate or percentage of your sales (can be tax deductible!) to Friendly House to support our programs and services.  In exchange for your support, we will support your sale with inclusion on interactive maps, advertisement throughout the Portland Metro area, and your very own Friendly House Community Yard Sale sign! If you’re interested in having a sale, please fill out this form.

 

Hold a Sale at the SELCO Community Credit Union Parking Lot: If you live outside of 97210 or don't have room to host a sale at your home, you can still participate! The SELCO Community Credit Union parking lot at Thurman St. and 25th Ave will have multiple spaces available for folks to set up their sales flea market style. It's first come first serve for these spaces, so sign up today and reserve your spot! Sales at SELCO must start at 9 AM. 

 

Sponsor the Yard Sale: Join our amazing partners, SELCO Community Credit Union and W'here Real Estate, in sponsoring this event!  Starting at only $500 your business can let everyone know you're supporting a great cause: our community! See our sponsorship page for more information.

 

Support with Your Sales!: For local businesses willing to offer a percentage of their sales on August 16, we will include you on our interactive map and shout you out on our website and social media posts. Make a Donation: Can't host a sale? Anyone is welcome to support and any amount is appreciated! See our donation page to make a gift. 

 

Shop, and Spread the Word!: The more participants that are shopping, the more revenue for our community! This will be a destination event in the heart of Northwest Portland, with dozens of sales filled with countless treasures.
